For a number of years already BRANDI has engaged in China-related legal consulting as a part of its international practice servicing German clients in the People‘s Republic of China and Chinese clients in Germany. Since 2007 BRANDI is present on the ground in China with its own cooperation office, since 2009 together with the well-respected Chinese law-firm Guo and Partners in Beijing. The Chinese lawyers as well as various German lawyers in the Chinese offices serve our clients in the PRC and offer German speaking capabilities. BRANDI can also offer upon request Chinese speaking staff on the ground in Germany, whilst Dr. Nils Wigginghaus is the primary contact person with regard to China-related legal matters. Through the extensive legal experience of the German and Chinese lawyers involved, BRANDI can offers its full rage of services in both countries, including the protection of intellectual property in the struggle against product piracy, the defence against false allegations thereof and related protection during trade fairs such as the "Hannover Messe", the drafting of contracts relating to the international distribution of goods and mergers & acquisitions.
